There are two series of All in the Mind on BBC Radio 4 each year, one in the spring and one in the autumn, broadcast at 9 pm on Tuesdays, with a repeat at 3.30 pm on Wednesdays. The show began in 1989, when it was presented by Professor Anthony Clare, and is produced by the BBC science unit.

All in the Mind has been awarded both the Best Radio Award and the Making a Difference Award in the Mind Media Awards.

To celebrate the show’s 25th birthday, the All In The Mind Awards were launched. Every two years, people who have experienced a mental health problem can nominate an individual, a professional or a group that has made a difference to them.
